4 people died in that fire.

I didn't know them very well, but I know those who did.

We met in 2001 when we were attending secondary school at Indre Herøy Ungdomsskule
(also known as Stokksund Barne- og ungdomsskule).

In 2004 we went off to gymnasium, but in different places.

In 2005 we attended a KoRn concert in Oslo Spektrum.
It was awesome! :)

Then after the concert she went off to hers and I went off to mine.
We almost lost contact until June earlier this year.

We were both unemployed at the time and decided to hang out.
It was soo great spending time with her again!
We spent almost every day together either at the beach, at the coffee bar,
cruisin' in my car or drinking :)

One day we just decided that we wanted to attend Hovefestivalen,
so we booked our tickets and off we went! :)
It was brilliant! :D
If the lineups are good next year, we'll be going again!

Kristina is currently working on getting her drivers license, actually.
I know she'll pull it off! ;)

I really can't wait to cruise around in your car while you drive it, babe! :D

Lucky me gets to work with this lovely girl almost every afternoon of the week :)
We have so much fun at work! We talk, we sing, we laugh and sometimes we even work.

Malin is always interesting, supportive and artistic :)
She has 2 cats; Melissa and Clarissa, soooo cute!

Malin wants to be a veterinarian, something I think would be very suitable for her.
Hopefully our job is only temporary.

We both work at Coop Marked in Tjørvåg.
Coop Marked is a grocery store where we sell not only food, but also fuel, alcohol and some toys and tools. We have a little post office there and we sell lottery tickets too.
Malin just finished her learning course for postal stuff last month, actually.
So come, come and she'll help you out with either paying bills or sending stuff in the mail ;)

Ben's Birthday & Christmas in England!

I have just booked my flight to England for Christmas and I am soooo excited! :D

It will be the first time I get to experience Christmas outside Norway, with different traditions and stuff! It will be most awesome :)

And I have always wondered how it would be to open presents on Christmas Day instead of Christmas Eve.. :D
Though, not sure how many presents I can or should actually bring, but time will tell :)

My flight is on December 20th and I only booked one-way, but I'll be home in January sometime.
Work needs me.
But work means money.
Money means.. more Coffee Mocca and trips to England to visit my boy! Awesome! :D

Arguing & The Tank Chair

Tonight I feel like throwing a chair at someones face. Not just anyone, I have a specific person in mind.

Why is it that when we argue there are always the people who just can't seem to stay on topic?
They twist your words and sentences and throw it back at you.

Arguing with people who think they are always right is one thing, I mean, that's the reason people argue, they all believe they are right.

What's worse is when people know they are wrong, but still try to convince you that they are right.

It's awful when people attempt to distract the other person either by name calling or engaging in another activity while arguing.
In my opinion, it simply means they have lost the argument.

There are many styles of arguing, but my least favourite is when numbers are included.

Did you know that when we are arguing and the other person drags out either a calculator or a mathematical piece they have prepared in advance, most of us are overwhelmed and in most cases we disengage from the argument because we have no figures to show and therefore feel we have lost.
It is almost impossible to argue with numbers.

But the thing about numbers is that even though the mathematical equation seems to be correct, the person responsible for the equation has had the advantage of including and excluding figures that might be more than relevant to get the truthful equation!


They say the good thing about arguing is that you get to blow off some steam and feel better about yourself.
Personally, I would feel much better if I got to throw that chair at that person with the mathematical equations who twists my words and can barely stay on topic..

Nu hairz & almost accidents(?)!

I couldn't help myself, I had to let a friend of mine cut my hair today.. :)
She is under training, but very good!
I am really liking my new cut, and she took alot, and it feels nice!
It's so much lighter and I keep swinging and shaking my head!
So now I have a slight headache..

I also came close to crashing my car today.. That was scary.
It has been snowing these last couple days, but it has been mild (from +3 to -2°C) and therefore the roads are more dangerous than usual.
This happened on the way home after my haircut.

I was driving behind this other car, an Audi A6 Quattro, so I thought that "OK, he drives a quattro, I don't. He can drive more daring than I can", so I slowed down a bit, to be on the safe side.
As we approached a sharp turn I decided to slow down even more.
There was a car coming towards in the other lane and he was taking up half the road so I had to keep really close to the crash barrier on my side to avoid him crashing into me apparently..

When the car then passed me and I was getting back onto my track, the slush on the road carried my car and I lost control.
As the car was sliding over into the other lane, the esp was desperately trying to get my car back on track.
All I could see was a brick wall getting closer, but I kept calm (so to say) and was more worried about what I would do if there were cars coming in my direction..
Luckily I managed to gain control of my car again and steered it back onto my track.
A huuuge, relieved sigh was let out.
A minute later I passed a police car and an ambulance. I am just so glad I didn't need that today.

There were lots of accidents today..
I am annoyed, there are way too few snow ploughs running when it gets like this. Lazy sods that won't do the job because the pay isn't good enough!
Wtf? What about all the accidents that could be avoided if they got off their asses and did their jobs!

I am glad it's Saturday night now so that it'll be Sunday after I have gone to sleep and wake up again. Laaaazy days ftw! :)

Wrath of the Lich King

It was released today, and I got myself a copy! :D
I tell you, the hours at work today went by sooooooooo slow....!

But I did get home eventually. I quickly set up my new monitor and put the disc in my computer to install. While it was being installed I quickly ate dinner and set up my old monitor for my parents, showed it off and headed back downstairs to my room.

There were patches after patches to install, but it went quick and easy.
Finally! I could click play, so I did :D
Awesome cinematics as usual, I agreed on all the terms and conditions, logged in (praying I still had gametime) and I was good to go!

Half my guild was already in Northrend (new place) and were busy busy.
I tried to figure out how to get there myself, but after 2 mins not remembering how, I remembered something else instead.. Death Knight!

So I logged out and made myself a Night Elf Death Knight <3
I started on lvl 55, which I found strange, but sort of a relief really, that I wouldn't have to start ALL OVER (AGAIN!
(I have many alts..)).

Loved the looks, the evilness, the quests, loved it all!
So I played for about 3 hours, 2 hours too long..
I just logged out actually.. :D

I got to witness a huge fight in near the "Light's Hope Chapel" in Plaguelands too, it was awesome! Wonder if the other people on the server get to see it too.
Now I can't wait for tomorrow to play more, this rocked! :D

I was browsing some online toyshops. And music and dvds for sale. And clothing.
And gadgetitos (yes, gadgets, I just like to call them gadgetitos).

Of course I wanted these things I was looking at, but
pay this month sucked, I have bills to pay, Christmas is coming up (woohoo! I can't wait! :D ) and so I need money to buy Christmas presents and stuff.

On Monday the electrisity went out and the powersupply on my computer got cranky, so my computer wouldn't start.
Luckily I had my server-pc.
It's crappy for 'normal' use like web-browsing, instant messaging, gaming and stuff, so it has been NO fun..!

BUT, today me and waify (Kristina) went to visit my bestmate and I brought my computer for him to look at, and I got to borrow his powersupply! And now it works! :D

But we also ordered me a new desktop pc, coz mine is almost 4 years old and soooooo outdated!
So in about 2 weeks I'll have a new pc and I am really looking forward to it! :D
