So, I got this idea..

When I was 15 I really wanted it, but I was too young.
When I was finally old enough, my boyfriend at the time wouldn't let me.

Now I am in the middle of my 20-year crisis (it's the new 30's in case you haven't heard) and I really think I want to give it a go.

I want to work at sea. On a boat.
YES! :D

I have no idea if I will like it, but I really want to give it a go.

New job.. New people.. New experiences.. New places.. Money!

Gonna discuss this with my brother this weekend and see what he says.
He's experienced in this area, so I think he might have a few wise things to say :)

I can totally picture it! Can you?

A Lesson Learned In Life

Almost every day we learn something new.
Some things are worth taking with us further. Some things we forget straight away.
Some things we learn the hard way.
Some things we are grateful for.
Some things we wish we had never learned.

It could be anything from;
learning that beer, wine and tequila = bad,
to;
learning that teachers don't like you filling out tests with that pink pen you loved so much..

What have I learned in my (almost) 21 years then?

  • I have learned that if you shake your fizzy drink.. Well, don't we all know that one?
  • I have also learned from experience that beer, wine and tequila don't match very well on the same night.
  • I have learned that you can't trust everyone, but they all deserve a chance.
  • I have learned that it's better to regret something you have done than to regret something you didn't do.
  • I have learned that no matter how you twist it or turn it, friends are and always will be, the most important thing in your life!
But it isn't always that easy to remember.

Treasure what you've got, don't be afraid to take a leap, and don't ever let anyone make your decisions for you.
Keep living, keep learning! :)

Don't look like he remembered what happens when you shake
a bottle of fizzy stuffs right before drinking it..

Get a life!

Most gamers/geeks/nerds have been told that a thousand times.

But what gives the non-gamer/-geek/-nerd the right to say that?
Are their lives that much more fulfilling than ours, us that play games?

We play games, yes.
But we all eat, sleep and do our biz at the toilet.
Most of us work or attend school.
Most of us still go out in the weekends and get silly drunk or just hang out with friends.
Most of us still to goes to festivals, concerts, museums or shows even though we play games.

So what are the gamers missing out on that you non-gamers get?

Of course we have the people that gamers ourselves call "nolifers".
But do you really have to put us all under the same rock?

It pisses me off every time someone thinks they are better than the gamers and criticizes us for our hobbies and interests.
Especially the "nolifer" discussions around the internet.
Nobody wins anyway.
People are entitled to their own opinions, but you can keep some of them to yourself.

So I ask,
what makes your life that much more fulfilling than mine?

25 random things about Lizipoos

I got tagged today so now it's MY turn! :)
(yeah, I actually like these things^^)

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

To do this, go to “notes” under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.

1. I have the soundtrack from Pokèmon (the movie) both on CD somewhere and on my PC.

2. For some reason, I always think it's a good idea to cut my own hair when I am drunk. Luckily it doesn't always show..

3. I sleep like a rock. A few years ago, I managed to sleep for 25 hours, uninterrupted.

4. I procrastinate. Probably more than others. I should stop that. Maybe next week..

5. No matter how sleepy I can be during the day, I tend to stay awake nights anyway. Without a problem.

6. The day I find out I am pregnant I will stop smoking. I have always said so. After seeing so many people failing in doing that, I still believe I can.

7. I love attention, but once I get it I don't know what to do with it.

8. I love water puddles more than my dog does.

9. I named my cat Casper after watching the movie "Casper" because I had a crush on Devon Sawa.

10. In elementary school I was a proper bookworm. I even got diplomas for it! But now.. I haven't read a book in years..

11. But I am planning on reading Tom Clancy's 'Rainbow Six' one day.

12. When I was younger I used to play GTA2. I could play for hours. I would drive around listening to the radio, steal cars, ride the train, try to kill most HK's (shh) and see how many cops I could I piss off and then shake off. I didn't answer the phone in the game before after a few months of playing....

13. When I was 10 or something, I asked my mum what "erotic" meant. I was soooo embarrassed when she told me, I don't think I have asked her about random words since then.

14. I didn't believe in long distance relationships until I got my own. Miss you, Benj!

15.
I love cosplay and fancydress, but only once have I done it properly; Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken, last day of elementary school at the fancydress.

16. I can't tell a joke without laughing. Maybe if I have told it 97 times before. But I could crack up again when I am telling it for the 99th time.

17. I have, or I make theories for most things. But the most extreme ones I keep to myself to hide the fact that I am slightly insane.

18. I don't think I have any talents. I feel that I am only half-good in the things I do. Bit sad that.. so.. next!

19. Perfectionist? A little, yes, when it comes to certain things.

20. I like smileys. I always want to put smileys at the end of almost every sentence, but I try not to.. :)

21. I have shoplifted ONCE. I felt so bad about it, I confessed everything.

22. I learned to swim by an accident. A slope was involved.

23. I have had my ears pierced since I was 8. I have wanted more holes in my ears the last years, but I was afraid.

24. I secretly want to tattoo big parts of my body, but I have promised mum I won't.

25. I believe that pain can be expelled by pain. When you put Aloe Vera on it and it starts hurting, it's working!

I have probably skipped out on some good parts, but I am sure I will throw myself over the next one of these aswell :)

WALL·E

Most adorable thing I have ever seen! <3

CAFFEINE!!!!11ONEOEN1

On Tuesday I drove Kristina to Ørsta for her drivinglession.
We got breakfast at Shell, sausages and coke.
[First intake of caffeine]

And while she was off to her drivinglession, I went to the mall.
Picked her up an hour and a half later and we went home.
I went for a shower and she walked my dog and tried on her new clothes.

Then we went to pick up Malin and headed to Ulsteinvik.
After wandering around the shops for a while we decided to sit down and have something to eat. We stopped by "Sunt & Nam" and had some Chinese food.
And coke.
[Second intake of caffeine]

Then we wandered around a few more shops before we went to KaffeBaren (our local coffee bar).
[Third intake of caffeine]

That was about 3pm-ish.
We sat down, had coffee and played with dutty cards :)

3 hours later I called up some friends wondering if they would join us.
By then we had already had a few cups of coffee.

About 40 minutes later, they were there with us. We ordered more coffee.
[X? intake of coffee]

We had good laughs and much fun (and coffee).

When we left at 9pm I have no idea how much coffee me and Kristina had consumed over the past 6 hours, but I'm guessing the number was close to 10..
Each.

After saying goodbye to our friends we decided to take the trip to Hareid to pick up Kristina's bracelet at a friend of hers.

We laughed and got really silly in the car on the way to his house, so I said I would just stay in the car while she got her bracelet, so that I wouldn't embarrass her! Haha

When we got there I really needed a wee, so I decided to join her, but to be quick and we'd leave.

We rang the doorbell and waited. Looking at each other and laughing.
Then he answered and I went "Hai! May I please use your bathroom, please??".
Sure I could.
Then I was wondering if I should take my shoes off, and instead of asking that, I asked "Shall I take off my clothes?" and Kristina cracked up, then so did I.

We stood in the hall for a while with me just being silly and laughing.
We discussed me, what I am like when I am drunk..
I tried to convince him to give me a Metallica concert-ticket for my birthday..
I told them about my dildo on my keys.. I spoke so fast my words got mixed, I actually have 3 dice on my keys, no dildo!
They said they found it entertaining, but I woke up the next day in shame.. :)

Was fun though! :D

This is a pic of one of my first coffee mochas :)

My model finished?

I was afraid that if I'd paint any more on my model I would ruin it.
Does it look finished? Or more importantly,
does it look good?

RAWWWR!

ROAWWR!

Tehehe.. :D
